I am not there
Thursday March 7th
Fragments of family recordings of the past are haunting the present, a day as a child and a day as an adult at a castle, in-between lie thirty years. Video8 fragments recorded by the father are interwoven with the place and moment of remembrance of the grown-up child, the look through the viewfinder onto the empty spaces of the present collapse with the look of the father through the viewfinder thirty years ago. The instability of the film's manual development process hints at the instability of the spatial and temporal coordinates of our existence.
